Ural-2007 – Moscow Lokomotiv-2007 – 1:0
On April 27th, at the Ural Academy arena in Yekaterinburg, as part of the 7th round of the Youth Football League-1, the Ural-2007 team hosted the Moscow Lokomotiv-2007 team, which was among the league leaders at the time (in 2nd place in the standings). Throughout the match, both teams displayed spectacular football, with no one giving an inch, battling on the field for every ball. Both teams had chances to score, with the goalkeepers performing admirably, but the young players’ finishing let them down at times.
Klimentiy Sidorov, the gifted central defender who is now part of the Russian National team, participated in the game from the first minute as part of Ural-2007. In the 40th minute, Ural’s forward, Artem Akhmedyanov, completed a combination play and scored a goal against the team from Moscow. The Ural team managed to maintain the score line and secure their second victory of the season. Klimentiy Sidorov confidently played the entire game, dedicating himself to physical battles, making clearances, interceptions, contributing to creating goal-scoring opportunities, and thanks to his performance, he made his personal contribution to the team’s overall victory.
