Our player Vitaliy Bondarev made a dream start to his international career with the Russia U-21 national team, scoring on his debut in a friendly match against the Iraq U-23 Olympic Team.
The match took place on June 5th at the Emirhan Sports Center in Manavgat, Turkey. Vitaly entered the game in the 63rd minute and quickly made his mark. In the 75th minute, with Russia already leading 2-0, he found the back of the net to extend his team’s advantage.
Russia U-21 went on to secure an impressive 5-1 victory over Iraq U-23, with Bondarev’s goal contributing to a dominant team performance.
The match marked Vitaliy’s first appearance for the Russia U-21 national team, making the occasion even more special.
